Space to explore

How you feel. How you relate. How you live.

Hello, I'm Luís, an integrative therapist and counsellor – meaning I draw on different therapy approaches depending on what's most helpful for you.

Whatever brings you here – anxiety, depression, a life transition, your identity, relationships, the world feeling harder than it should, or something else – we'll explore it together.

About me

I'm Luís (pronounced Loo-eesh, he/him), I am completing a Diploma, and a Master's in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at the Minster Centre in London.

My aim is to accept you warmly and without judgement, and to offer an authentic human connection where you're received with genuine care.

I offer therapy in-person in London W1 or online, in English or Portuguese (all variants), and can work in other languages too. My practice is inclusive of LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities, and other minoritised groups and identities.

My approach

I draw mainly on relational psychotherapy, attachment theory and body psychotherapy. They are based on our struggles not being 'defects', but patterns formed by our relationships and the world around us, past and present. I am not an expert in you; instead, we are partners on a shared journey who figure things out together.

What can therapy help with?

There isn't a set list of situations therapy can help with, but examples include:

  • Anxiety, overwhelm, low mood and depression

  • Grief, loss and life transitions

  • Relationship difficulties, trauma and loneliness

  • Identity – sexual, gender, cultural, neurodivergent

  • Self-esteem, self-worth and the search for meaning

How does it work?

After an initial call we'll meet once a week for 50 minutes, either in person or online. We can use our initial sessions to figure out how we feel working together. Together we'll pay attention to how things are for you: recurring patterns, emotions that take over or are absent, how you respond under pressure, or whatever else is present. The aim isn't to diagnose, but to understand – and as that understanding grows, new ways of relating to yourself and others tend to open up.
